About Us

In 1875, Orlando Coolidge was the first nurseryman in Ashland. He built an elegant Italianate Victorian home for his family overlooking North Main Street just two blocks from the bustling downtown plaza. Now, more than 130 years later, his stately home still stands proudly and we would love to share it with you.

Our refurbished Victorian offers 4 suites in the main house, each with its own private bath and sitting room, a separate cottage nestled in the garden, and a spacious suite on the top floor of the newer Victorian replica in the back of the property.

Our guests are served a delicious gourmet breakfast in either our cozy dining room or in our delightful garden setting before exploring all that Ashland has to offer. The Oregon Shakespeare FestivalLithia Park, and our eclectic downtown shops are all just a short two-block walk from The Coolidge House. You may choose to spend some time reading on our front porch, relaxing in our courtyard, or gazing at the view of the town and the Cascade Mountains from our upper balcony. Free wireless internet is available from anywhere on our property. Afternoon wine is served June - October in the Dining Room when the afternoon plays let out.
